Workshop "Prosodic boundary phenomena" at the 43rd annual meeting of the DGfS, University of Freiburg, 24-25 Feb 2021

Organizers: Fabian Schubö & Sabine Zerbian (University of Stuttgart) and Sandra Hanne & Isabell Wartenburger (University of Potsdam)

We are organizing a workshop at the 43rd annual meeting of the German Linguistic Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sprachwissenschaft, DGfS), held at the University of Freiburg, 23-26 February 2021. The workshop, entitled "Prosodic boundary phenomena", intends to bring together interdisciplinary researchers working on the impact of prosody on language comprehension and production, such as cross-linguistic variation in prosodic boundary implementation, inter- and intraindividual differences including the ontogenetic development of prosodic competences, and researchers who are interested in the prosody-syntax interface from a modeling perspective or other phenomena related to prosodic boundaries. We welcome a variety of different methodological approaches to prosody research. The workshop is held online, 24-25 February 2021.
